How to Cancel an Audio Erotica Subscription — and Get Your Money Back

Atualizado November 06, 2026 · Pricing

Most people find a guide like this after the charge, not before. So this is written in the order you need it: how to cancel, how to get money back, what to do if you were already charged, and what your rights are if the platform says no.

It covers Whisper Stories and Adesira specifically, plus the app-store routes, because where you subscribed determines where you have to cancel.

The 30-second answer

If you subscribed on a website: log in, open account settings, find the subscription section, cancel, then keep the confirmation email.

If you subscribed in an app: you cannot cancel in the app. Cancel in the App Store or Google Play settings.

Deleting the app does nothing. Both Apple and Google require you to cancel the subscription itself. Whisper says this on their own cancel page: "Deleting the app does not cancel your subscription."

Whisper Stories: how to cancel

Whisper publishes a cancellation guide, which is to their credit — many services in this category do not. Their own steps:

  1. Go to the login page and sign in with the email and password you subscribed with.
  2. Open Account.
  3. Select Information.
  4. Click Cancel Subscription.
  5. Confirm when asked.
  6. Check for a cancellation confirmation email, and that your plan shows as cancelled or expiring.

Keep that email. It is the only proof you have, and it is the thing you will be asked for if a charge appears anyway.

If you paid through Google Play: Play Store → profile icon → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Whisper Stories → Cancel subscription. Make sure you are signed in to the same Google account you subscribed with.

If you paid through Apple: Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Whisper Stories → Cancel Subscription. Same Apple ID as the purchase.

If you cannot find the account: search your inbox for the receipt or welcome email. That tells you which email address and which payment route was used.

Why you are being charged $74.99

This is the part that surprises people, so it is worth being precise.

Whisper's quiz page ships its pricing configuration in the page source. It contains:

``` "showAutoRenewalDisclaimer": true, "autoRenewalPrice": "74.99", "autoRenewalCadence": "every month", "disclaimerFontSize": "11px", "disclaimerColor": "#7A8EA9" ```
That is the renewal: $74.99 every month, disclosed in a disclaimer rendered at 11 pixels in a muted blue-grey.
The introductory offers in the same payload are three months for $32.99 (shown against an "original" $74.99) and six months for $49.99 (against $119.99). So the arithmetic people experience is: a discounted first period, then $74.99 a month.
Nothing here is hidden in the sense of being absent. It is disclosed, accurately, at 11 pixels.
Getting a refund from Whisper
Whisper has a refund policy dated 29 October 2026, and it contains a real guarantee with narrow conditions.
What qualifies: the 30-day money-back guarantee applies only to your first full-price purchase, once per customer, and only if a guarantee was shown at checkout. To claim it you must cancel your subscription and email [email protected] within 30 days of purchase, briefly explaining why it was not the right fit.
What does not qualify: "This guarantee does not apply to renewals, upgrades, or promotional pricing."
Read that exclusion carefully. The $74.99 arrives as a renewal after promotional pricing. Both of those are excluded. So the guarantee is real, but it does not cover the scenario most people are writing about.
Everything else: "Requests that do not meet the conditions above are reviewed on a case-by-case basis at our sole discretion." And in the EU and UK, the 14-day right of withdrawal is waived once access begins.
If you bought in an app: Whisper cannot refund it. Apple and Google process those, and you request the refund from them.
Adesira: what we could not find
Adesira's public site does not publish a cancellation page, a refund policy, or terms of service — `/pricing`, `/faq`, `/terms` and `/register` all return 404 in November 2026. Their onboarding flow loads no price in the initial HTML.
That means there is no published procedure to follow. In practice, for a service like this:
  1. Look for a "manage subscription" or "account" link in the emails they sent you.
  2. If the charge is on your card statement, the merchant name there is often the fastest route to support.
  3. If there is no self-service cancellation, email their support address and ask for written confirmation of cancellation, including the date.
  4. If no confirmation arrives, contact your card issuer — see below.
The absence of a published process is not proof of bad faith. It does mean you have no documented route, which is itself worth knowing before you subscribe.
If you were charged after cancelling
This happens, and it is usually a payment-route problem rather than a billing one. Work through it in this order:
1. Confirm which route the charge came from. A website subscription and an App Store subscription are separate. Cancelling one does not cancel the other.
2. Check your cancellation confirmation. If you have it, you have a strong position. If you do not, ask support to confirm the cancellation date in writing.
3. Ask the merchant for a refund in writing. State the date you cancelled, attach the confirmation, and ask them to reverse the charge. Keep it factual and short.
4. If that fails, dispute the charge with your card issuer. This is a chargeback. You will be asked for evidence: the cancellation confirmation, the email trail, and the date of the charge. Chargebacks are time-limited — typically 120 days from the transaction — so do not wait.
5. For EU and UK consumers, national consumer bodies can advise. The waiver of the 14-day withdrawal right does not remove your other statutory rights, and a charge after a confirmed cancellation is a straightforward case.
A checklist before you subscribe to any of them
  1. Screenshot the payment screen, including the renewal line, before you pay.
  2. Note the renewal price and cadence, not just the introductory price.
  3. Check the cancellation window — search the terms for "24 hours".
  4. Check whether the money-back guarantee excludes renewals. Most do.
  5. Use a virtual card with a low limit if you are unsure. It is the cheapest insurance available.
  6. Cancel the day you decide, not the day before renewal.
What a no-cancellation model looks like
The alternative to learning a cancellation procedure is not needing one.
VoiceClimax runs a supporter model rather than a content subscription: $18 a month for 180 minutes, you choose the amount up to $100, everyone gets the same tools, and extra minutes are topped up deliberately through checkout rather than auto-billed. There is no 24-hour window, no renewal at a price you did not choose, and no arbitration clause. If you stop supporting, it stops — and the free library stays free because supporters cover it.
That is a design choice, not a virtue. It earns less than a forgotten renewal.
How do I cancel Whisper Stories?
Log in, open Account, select Information, click Cancel Subscription and confirm. Keep the confirmation email. If you subscribed through the App Store or Google Play, cancel there instead.
Why was I charged $74.99?
That is Whisper's stated monthly renewal price, set in the quiz page's own configuration and disclosed in an 11px disclaimer. It applies after the introductory period.
Can I get a refund from Whisper?
Only under the 30-day money-back guarantee, which applies to the first full-price purchase and excludes renewals, upgrades and promotional pricing. Other requests are at their discretion. In-app purchases are refunded by Apple or Google.
How do I cancel Adesira?
There is no published cancellation page. Look for an account link in their emails, email support and ask for written confirmation, and if that fails contact your card issuer.
Does deleting the app cancel the subscription?
No. Whisper states this explicitly, and it is true of every app-store subscription. You must cancel the subscription itself.
Can I still get a chargeback?
Usually yes, within your card network's window — commonly 120 days from the transaction. You will need the cancellation confirmation and the email trail.
