Dipsea and Emjoy Moved Domains — Here Is What Happened

Updated November 06, 2026 · Comparison

Two of the best-known names in audio erotica changed domains, and both changes left a trail of broken bookmarks, dead app links and confused searches. If you searched for either recently and landed somewhere unexpected, this is why.

Dipsea: dipsea.com → dipseastories.com

The app is alive. The domain changed.

`dipsea.com` no longer resolves at all — the DNS record is gone, which is why you get a browser error rather than a redirect. The product lives at dipseastories.com, and the iOS and Android apps are still published under the Dipsea name.

What happened in the same period: Dipsea published a public commitment to remove every piece of AI-generated content from the product by the end of June 2026, including re-recording a small number of titles that had used "virtual voices" and replacing 204 AI-generated illustrations. They documented the process month by month.

If you are looking for Dipsea and finding a dead link, that is the reason. The catalogue is intact; the URL is not.

Emjoy: emjoy.com → letsemjoy.com

Same story, different brand.

`emjoy.com` now resolves to a domain-parking page — "emjoy.com for sale" — which is what makes it look like the company closed. It did not. Emjoy operates at letsemjoy.com, and the bare domain redirects to `www.letsemjoy.com`.

Two small technical details worth knowing if you are trying to reach it:

  • The apex domain 301-redirects to `www.` on every path, so any saved link takes an extra hop.
  • The site publishes a sitemap of roughly 550 URLs and appears to be English-only.

So if you searched "emjoy" and found a domain for sale, you were looking at a parked domain, not a shutdown.

Why this matters beyond the two brands

Domain migrations are routine, but in this category they are unusually disruptive, because the products are consumed through bookmarks and app links rather than through search. When a domain disappears:

  • Old links in forum threads break, and those threads are where most recommendations live.
  • Search results keep pointing at the old host for weeks.
  • People conclude the service shut down, and say so publicly.

That last effect is the expensive one. A parked domain reads as a death notice, and the correction never travels as far as the rumour.

What changed in the market while this happened

Three things, all verifiable:

Dipsea removed its AI content. A small portion of its catalogue (under 3% of 1,200+ stories) had used AI voice simulation with actor consent, and 204 illustrations were AI-generated. Both are being replaced with human work.

Bloom Stories and Audiodesires turned out to be the same company. Audiodesires' homepage is branded "by: Bloom Stories", both are operated by Quicku GmbH in Munich, and both serve assets from the same storage bucket. Bloom markets itself as "100% human-made, no AI"; Audiodesires does not make that claim.

Emjoy consolidated onto a single domain. Its public sitemap carries last-modified dates from 2024, suggesting the catalogue has not been substantially expanded recently.

Where listeners actually went

There is no single migration. What the evidence supports:

  • People who want a curated, human-performed catalogue stayed with Dipsea and Bloom. Both are still operating, both still sell subscriptions, and both still publish in a small number of languages (one and four respectively).
  • People whose scenario is not in any catalogue moved toward generation platforms, because a library cannot serve a request that was never produced.
  • People who were paying for a subscription they had forgotten about mostly cancelled, which is a different kind of migration and does not show up in product comparisons.

How to choose a replacement

Four questions, in order:

1. Do you want to browse or to specify? If browsing, a curated catalogue is the right product. If you have a specific scenario in mind, only a generator can produce it.

2. Does it exist in your language? Dipsea is English-only. Emjoy is English-only. Bloom covers four languages. Most of the market is one to four. If you are not an English speaker, that narrows the field sharply.

3. What does it cost, and can you see the price? Dipsea and Bloom publish prices. Emjoy does not publish one publicly. Several newer platforms reveal pricing only after an onboarding flow.

4. What are the renewal terms? Check the cancellation window and whether credits auto-replenish before you enter a card.

Frequently asked questions

Did Dipsea shut down?

No. It moved to dipseastories.com and is operating normally. The old domain no longer resolves.

Did Emjoy shut down?

No. It moved to letsemjoy.com. The emjoy.com domain is parked and listed for sale, which is why it looks closed.

Why do these domains get abandoned?

Migrating a brand is often cheaper than defending an old domain, and adult-adjacent categories lose domains to registrar and payment-processor issues. The migration is deliberate; broken links are collateral.

Is Dipsea still removing AI content?

That was their stated target — end of June 2026 — with monthly progress updates on their blog.

Are there alternatives in other languages?

Few. Bloom covers four languages; most competitors are English-only. Generation platforms cover more because they produce text per language rather than recording per language.

What is the safest way to find a current URL?

Search the brand name plus "official site", or check the app store listing, which usually points at the live domain.
